Having a wonderful week on the creativity front :) On Tuesday I collaborated with the awesome Satya James on a shoot to show off a couple of her exquisite handmade pieces. It was a gloriously smooth shoot surrounded by a brilliantly bizarre array of freak taxidermy - I'm more than a little excited about the photos! Thank you to everyone involved for such a lovely day :)
Tomorrow I'll be heading up to Brisbane to meet artist Charmaine Orchard (check out her work - she's pretty damn awesome) who is very kindly letting me work with her on a short film called Robber, Driver and the Lonely Fiver. The script - written by Daniel Green - made me giggle merrily to myself and am really looking forward to meeting some exciting new people. To top it off this weekend is Halloween!!!! Undoubtedly one of my favourite times of year to be a make-up artist :) I was feeling a little blue about not being in London and doing face-painting at the Wonky Turtle Weekender with my favourite girlies but after some rooting around on the internet I found a wonderful Brisbane based face and body painter Vanessa Hornett who runs 'Funky Face n Body Painting'. This glorious lady has agreed to let me work with her at Hellements in Fortitude Valley Saturday Night so there will be plenty of facepainting going on :) I am a very happy girl.

The last couple of weeks have been a bit quiet on the make-up front so I've been giving sewing a go. First I gathered some off-cuts and embellishments to jazz up a pair of poor bedraggled fairy wings I found that were no more than wire and mutilated stocking material : Next I cautiously approached the sewing machine with an old cushion cover , more offcuts and some help from
